Making spirits bright and remembering those in need during the holidays.

The holidays are right around the corner and we're gearing up to serve our city and help those less fortunate this season. Regardless of your interests, gifts, talents or time, there is a place for you to make a difference in our region this Christmas!

Christmas Compassion Projects

BABY BASKETS FOR NEWBORNS-

Provide basic supplies for newborn babies in our community whose families and caregivers need extra support. In partnership with Sierra Pregnancy + Health, we are putting together baby baskets filled with blankets, onesies, toys and more to help children start off strong. Pick-up a list of needed supplies in the lobby and bring them to church by November 27. We have a goal of 100 baskets.

CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR LOCAL FOSTER CHILDREN-

Bring joy to local foster youth, teens & families by providing them gifts to open on Christmas. Many of these vulnerable children have been invited to request specific toys or items from us. We have a goal of providing 230 gifts to local foster children and teens this holiday season who may not receive a Christmas gift without our help. Pick a personalized tag off Christmas tree in the lobby and return by November 27.

COATS FOR KIDS-

Provide coats for kids to keep them warm this winter. Donate new or gently used kids' jacket (ages Kindergarten to 5th grade). Coats will be donated to students at Howe Elementary in Sacramento. Our goal is to collect 1,000 coats across all Bayside campuses. All coats are due back November 27.

CHEMO BAGS OF HOPE FOR CANCER PATIENTS-

Offer hope and encouragement to cancer patients receiving chemo in our region by filling up an encouragement bag that will be delivered to patients. Each bag included items that will encourage patients undergoing chemo and point them towards hope in Christ. Stop by the lobby to pick up a list of what's needed and return your bag by November 27.
