Holiday Compassion 2019

Making spirits bright and remembering those in need at the Holidays.

The holidays are right around the corner and we are gearing up to make an impact in our community and beyond this season. Regardless of your interests, gifts, talents or time, there is a place for YOU to make a difference for the lost and hurting this year!

Holiday Compassion Projects

Giving Tree

Spread some Christmas cheer by participating in our toy drive in partnership with area schools. Our toy drive will bless over 250 kids, so they don’t go without this Christmas.

Visit us in the lobby to grab a gift tag or two with specific gift suggestions from those benefiting from our partnership. A Christmas Party will be held for these kids by Local Outreach team members as we share God’s love. In addition, we need help gift-wrapping over 500 gifts. All gifts must be returned unwrapped by Sunday, November 24.

Military Care Packages

The Bayside Military Connection Team is committed to supporting and encouraging our deployed military troops. Please join us in showing our love and appreciation by sending care packages filled with a taste of home.

Stop by our table in the lobby during weekend services to pick up a list of “Suggested Items” and a box to create your special care package. Please consider contributing $13 per package for shipping. Make it personal and include a note or card of appreciation! Care Packages must be returned by Sunday, November 24.

Operation Christmas Child

Share God’s love with kids around the world by participating in this family-friendly project. Last year over 10 million children worldwide received the gospel message through Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes filled with the love of Christ.

GET INVOLVED!  Operation Christmas Child boxes will be available in the lobby of Bayside Adventure on the weekends of November 2/3 and 9/10 or use your own shoebox and fill it with toys, hygiene items and more for a child ages 2-14 years old. All boxes must be returned by Sunday, November 24.

Koinonia Family Services

Share the joy of the season by giving gifts to area foster kids and teens. Especially those who have aged out of the program.

GET INVOLVED: Tags with each kid’s name, along with their Christmas Wish List, can be pulled from the Koinonia Christmas Tree in the Bayside Adventure lobby. Gifts must be returned by Sunday, November 24.
